We hope you’ll be able to kick off the new year on January 3 by joining us at the Heritage Museum at the San Dieguito Heritage Museum at Heritage Ranch (450 Quail Gardens Dr. Encinitas, CA, 92024; turn onto Ecke Ranch Rd. to access driveway). We meet outdoors under a covered patio, so please dress accordingly.
We look forward to being with you all to find out what you’ve been up to and discuss and receive feedback on Guild activities. There will be the usual roundtable show-and-share with announcements from fellow members, and the Board will share pertinent topics from the earlier Board meeting. We encourage you to bring finished projects and/or your works-in-progress. Also, if you have a problem piece, fellow members can brainstorm ideas that may help you.
We’ll also enjoy visiting with each other during the potluck lunch. There is electricity for crockpots, but no kitchen facilities.

Following the round-table show and share and potluck, we have a fun mini-workshop project for you. We'll make a beautiful Dragon Boat Ornament that is woven over card stock using embroidery floss or crochet cotton. If you have favorite colors, please bring some of your own, but we'll have some color choices to share. Besides floss, all you will need is a pair of scissors. Glue, tape and ball-headed straight pins will be provided. If you'd like a preview of how to do the weaving, check out this link https://youtu.be/EuCqS6a5VV4?si=pcAFbko_f6mq6oTQ. There is a small fee for the mini-workshop.
Those of you who wish to learn more about Guild business are welcome to join the Board meeting at 11:00am, before the Noon members’ meeting. For those who cannot attend in person, Zoom login information will be emailed the week before the meeting [not option for mini-workshop session].
