MWGBG Member Exhibit Opportunity
Encinitas Community Center
1140 Oakcrest Park Dr, Encinitas, CA
January 7 to May 7, 2027

We have been accepted by the City of Encinitas to show in the Community Center largest cabinet. The City received over 190 applications for 24 available openings and we were one of them!

Plan on submitting UP TO four pieces and we will fit in what we can.

What we need from you:

Send the information to Grace Swanson gourdsbygrace@gmail.com. They have not yet given us the due date for Grace to get them the list of artworks in the show but, in the past, it has been about a month ahead of time, which would be December 7, 2026.

• Photo of your artwork
This does NOT have to be a high quality photo. The City wants to make sure it is "family viewable." That being said -- we will need to submit a couple of photos for the poster and for publicity -- which will need to be high resolution, in focus, plain background. The better the photo you send me the more likely yours will be chosen for the poster and for publicity.

• Details of your artwork
It makes it a lot easier for Grace if you give the information IN THIS ORDER:

a. Title
b. Medium
c. Price or Not for Sale (NFS)
d. Artist name
e. Preferred contact (only if it is for sale) – website, email or phone number
f. QR code is optional

• Delivery of artwork (Pack them in boxes - NOT bags - and put your name on outside of box.)
You will need to bring your artwork to Grace Swanson at one of the two upcoming MWGBG meetings on Sunday, December 6, 2026 or January 3, 2027.
OR get them to Grace's house before January 5, 2027.
OR meet us at the Community Center no later than 12:30pm, January 7.

• Art Night
Date is April 17, 2027 from 5-7pm (or could be 5-8, not informed yet). We do not have any information yet, but at least one member needs to attend and last year we were able to bring more artwork to sell.

So that you don't submit artwork that you have shown before, here are photos from past shows:
