We hope you can join us at the San Dieguito Heritage Museum at Heritage Ranch (450 Quail Gardens Dr. Encinitas, CA, 92024; turn onto Ecke Ranch Rd. to access driveway). We’re outdoors, under a covered patio, so check the weather and dress accordingly.
For those members who cannot attend in person, a ZOOM option will be offered. However, this will be for the meeting only, not the mini-workshop. Login information will be included in the email meeting reminder.
During the meeting, we will discuss Guild business and future plans. Following lunch (BYO) and show-and-share time, Grace Swanson will teach those interested how to make a tree of life embellishment. In addition to being used as a wall or window hanging, this can be incorporated into either a future gourd or basket project. Grace will provide rings, stones, copper wire and samples. There’s a small fee for the mini-workshop.
If you have sent your entry info and photos to Grace Swanson by September 26, you can bring your entries for the Guild Member Exhibit in Encinitas (11/1/22 - 1/3/23): “Anything that Will Bend.” For details and later delivery options CLICK HERE.
If you plan to enter the California Gourd Society Southern Virtual Competition, Deb Zimmerman will be glad to deliver your entries for judging. CLICK HERE to read the instructions on how to enter at the CGS Southern California Gourd Art Competition webpage.
