ZOOM Meeting Only
No In-Person Meeting
at the Heritage Museum

Because the first Sunday of April falls on Easter Sunday, the in-person general meeting on April 5 at the Heritage Museum has been canceled.

Members who want to learn more about Guild business are welcome to join the 11:00am ZOOM Board meeting. Login information will be sent to current Guild members via email the week before the meeting.  Guild members who did not receive the login information can send an email to info@baskets-gourds.com. 

Note that because MWGBG will have a double booth at the Vista Fiber Arts Fiesta we will have our regular May Monthly Meeting at the Antique Steam Engine Museum in Vista Sunday, May 3.

More information about participating in our booths at the Vista Fiber Arts Fiesta will follow via email and be posted on the Opportunities webpage.

Those members who want their San Diego County Fair entries added to the courtesy group delivery, can bring their pieces to the May 3 Guild meeting at the Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum or leave it in the Guild booth either Saturday or Sunday during the Festival.

Bring your BOXED entries (NO SHOPPING BAGS) with your NAME on the outside and your ENTRY FORM inside.

The deadline for your online submittal for your gourds and baskets to the Fair is Monday, May 4 by 7:59pm so you need to have submitted online BEFORE the May 3 meeting to be able to print your form and include it in the box. https://www.sdfair.com/p/participate/entry/home-arts/home-arts-decorative-arts

If you CANNOT make the May meeting in Vista you may drop off your entry in a BOX (not a shopping bag) at Grace's house in Encinitas BEFORE May 14.
