Come and join us at our beautiful new meeting location at the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation Discovery Center! Attendees will learn about plans for the new chapter in the Guild’s future, and we welcome members’ input during the meeting. Through this process, we hope to create an atmosphere that will keep all our creative juices flowing and keep the organization vital and meaningful.
Following the meeting, there will be a potluck lunch, and we encourage attendees to bring their recent basket or gourd projects - either to show your finished piece or to get advice on problem areas.
Following the potluck, Willie Ziegler has graciously agreed to teach interested students how to make a small garden goddess using random weave over a wire frame. Note that students will most likely be finishing their project at home but will have the know-how to accomplish this. At this time, materials will be supplied, but updates about this will be posted here and in the email meeting notice if this changes. There is a small fee for this mini-workshop.
